Best of the Logies 2016

The Logies is undoubtedly the night of nights in Australian entertainment. And this year was no disappointment, pulling an impressive 1.18 million viewers around Australia.

From directors and creators, to actors and performers, the crème de la crème of Australian showbiz were recognised for their outstanding contribution to entertainment over the past 12 months. However, today we are going to discuss the outstanding contribution these stars made to the red carpet.

From fashion to makeup, here are our top 10 men and women "who did it best" (in no particular order):

Bec Judd

Its no doubt that this lady knows how to wow a red carpet, and this year was no exception. The gorgeous presenter stunned in a Cinderella inspired J’aton Couture gown. And while this isn’t the first time the beauty has worn a design by the Aussie label, it is surely one of the most memorable. Making it even more impressive, this lovely lady is expecting twins... Talk about pregnancy style!

Carrie Bickmore

Gold Logie winner last year and nominee this year, Carrie left us speechless wearing PaoloSebastian. The intricate beading and incorporation of leather makes this gown a red carpet winner every day. In our opinion she wore the sheer trend best! Keeping it tasteful and elegant is the way to go! Oh and we also love her hair and makeup – perfect match.

Mandy McElhinney

Old Hollywood is back! This stunning gown hugs Mandy’s curves perfectly and is a stark contrast to her characters typical costumes in programs such as House of Handcock and LoveChild. We also love her auburn hair styled in Hollywood inspired waves. Simply gorgeous!

Conrad Sewell

New kid on the block, Conrad Sewell, took a risk with an all black ensemble complimented by white piping on his suit jacket. Its clear that this newcomer has a flare for fashion even beyond his perfectly waved blonde locks.

Laurina Fleure

We're green with envy! Laurina looked fierce in an emerald green Con Ilio gown. Making sure all eyes were on the dress, she kept the hair and makeup simple and paired it with a nude strappy heel. We love it!

Delta Goodrem

Another Paolo Sebastian stunner! Some critiqued this as a bridal gown, however; we think it fits her fun personality perfectly. She nails the nude illusion trend.

Chyka Keebaugh

Best of the Real Housewives! Chyka looks absolutely stunning and very sophisticated in this off the shoulder gown. She definitely lives up to her elegant nature on the show.

Sonia Kruger

Sonia shows that even if you’re not nominated for a gold Logie, no one can stop you dressing like one. The blonde TV veteran stunned in a shining gold Herve Leger gown with fun slits from top to bottom.

Jessica Marais

Once again J’aton Couture shows that they're not a one trick pony. Although Jess’ dress its completely different from the princess ensemble we saw from Bec Judd it is no less perfect. We particularly love the bare back and detail along the spine. And her sleek ponytail finishes the look perfectly.

Waleed Aly and Susan Carland

This gold Logie winner and his wife definitely take the best couple award! Waleed looked dapper in a traditional tux but definitely let his lady take the lead. We love how Susan stayed true to her religion and did it in style, such an ethereal look!

So there you have it, all of our best of the Logies 2016 list of best dressed.

Love,
